Lauren Long is a staff photographer for The Post-Standard in Syracuse, New York.

She is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photojournalism.

Lauren has always had an interest in documenting the communities in which we live and engaging viewers in visual narratives.

Prior to going to work for The Post-Standard, she was a photographer for the Finger Lakes Times in Geneva, New York.

She is a Cleveland, Ohio native and currently resides in Geneva where she keeps busy running her photography business, remodeling a 19th century house with her husband and enjoying the scenic Finger Lakes region every chance that she gets.
