I had the pleasure of photographing this couple’s wedding in Skaneateles recently, and I realize as I post this that I’m still smiling from the event! The Heavens opened up midday but cleared just in time for the outdoor ceremony at Anyela’s Vineyards, a neat little winery on the west side of Skaneateles Lake. An elegant, yet cozy reception followed at The Lodge at Welch Allyn. Congratulations again to you both! I really enjoyed working with you.

As much as I enjoy photographing weddings, I equally enjoy being a guest from time to time. Two special friends (and former RIT crew teammates!) were married this weekend in beautiful Lake George, New York. I showed much restraint, trying to enjoy the event without a camera pressed to my face the entire time. But I couldn’t pass up such a tranquil scene on this misty afternoon in the Adirondacks. Rain can sure disappoint a bride, but look how it saturates the landscape with color! Dan and Michelle, your wedding would have been just as beautiful rain or shine.

I have to start by saying how much fun I had taking pictures of these two! Corey and Sarah celebrated their marriage with an island themed reception at Debonné Vineyards in Madison, Ohio … after getting married in Belize. They were more than easy going in front of the camera. Congratulations you two!

Gillian and Jason were married this weekend at Zion Lutheran Church in Geneva and chose one of my favorite venues for their reception, Ventosa Vineyards at the north end of Seneca Lake. The clouds parted after a rainy week for a perfect evening at the Tuscan-themed winery. Wonderful guests and a beautiful couple. I am pleased to have been a part of the event!
