Drive-in movie theaters tend to be hidden gems these days. And how can you help but love them. The Finger Lakes Drive-In in Aurelius, NY opened on July 15, 1947 and continues to offer movies seven nights a week each summer, rain or shine, through Labor Day.

I LOVE going to the New York State Fair. I love the people watching, the ice cold 25 cent chocolate milk, the scary midway rides and Gianelli sausage. I love watching the 4-Hers groom their prize winning goats, cattle and miniature horses. Watch the artists build their giant sandcastles and kids run wide-eyed from the fun houses. Never a shortage of pictures to be made!

A few portraits to preview the annual Syracuse Shakespeare Festival, and in particular, the Shakespeare in the Park production of The Tempest. Thornden Park is such a cool venue for this event! The show runs through the 23rd – check out their site for details.
